Survey Privacy Policy

Forrester Research considers the privacy of respondents to our online surveys to be of the utmost importance. We take the following steps to protect that privacy, in accordance with the code of conduct of the Market Research Society (MRS), and the Data Protection Act 1998.

  • Forrester Research does not make any individual's personal data available to third parties and/or unauthorized individuals or organizations.
  • We do not sell lists or generate any third-party revenue from list or contact data that is collected through any online survey.
  • All survey responses are confidential and are used only by Forrester Research for analysis.
  • All data is aggregated for reporting to our research clients. Where individual answers are reported, they are not attributed to any individual respondent.
  • An individual respondent is entitled at any stage of the interview to discontinue participation. The respondent's partially completed interview responses will not be used.
  • No respondent will be contacted for any sales or marketing activity as a result of having taken part in any Forrester Research survey.
  • Forrester Research has taken the necessary precautions to protect the security of all respondents' personal data.
